Sport has the power to inspire, unite people from diverse backgrounds and create hope. It can be a tool for transformation.

Rowing is a unique sport with so many benefits that aren’t talked about enough! It unifies people, creates communities, improves both physical and mental health, develops social skills and teaches lifelong lessons. 

BUT there is a huge requirement to make rowing more inclusive and more accessible to all. 

Love Rowing’s mission is to challenge and change the face of rowing. We create accessible and inclusive rowing programmes for communities’ that are currently underrepresented in the sport, showing the life-changing impact rowing can have. 

Working together with our partners, through the unique benefits and transformative impact of rowing we focus on three areas – schools, community and adaptive.

We promote participation opportunities for currently underrepresented groups including; young people in education in state schools, people with disabilities, ethnic minority communities and socio-economically disadvantaged communities  

We support rowing clubs to be more inclusive and open to all and advance education, raising awareness on inclusion, equality & diversity across the sport of rowing.
