The Big Row: Paris to LA

5th – 8th September 2024

Love Rowing’s annual fundraiser is back – and everyone’s invited!

We’re raising funds for inclusive and accessible rowing projects across the UK – because rowing is for everyone!

Please help us reach £60,000 and get more young people out rowing. We know it will change lives. We have many success stories already, and we want lots more. Will you help us fund them?

Come on – let’s row together from Paris to Los Angeles. Two of the coolest cities in the world – and we’ll start in the final week of the Paralympic Games in Paris, and row to LA where the next Olympics and Paralympics will be held.

It’s a total distance of 15,241 km. How much of that can you row? You can do it on land or on the water, in a crew or on your own. You can row at home, at work, at school, in a rowing club, or leisure centre.

Please register via the link below, pledge your distance, go get sponsors, and then row, any day from the 5 th to 8 th September – or every day, or whatever works for you. This is a challenge for everyone, from beginners to experienced rowers.

The Love Rowing and British Rowing team are also planning some exciting Big Row venues where people can take part together. More info to follow once you’ve registered.

Individual Entry is £20 and Junior and Adaptive Rowing is £10. Or enter as a Crew. Includes a participation medal. When you register you will be given a fundraising page to share with friends, family and on social media. Plus we’ll send you a fundraising pack to support you to achieve your fundraising target – which you set for yourself.

You can help us reach £60,000 from your sponsorship and entry fees. It will go to programmes and projects across the UK that get people from all kinds of backgrounds out on the water.
