Love Rowing is the charitable foundation of British Rowing, dedicated to transforming lives by increasing access to rowing and its benefits. Founded in 2018, the charity focuses on supporting disabled people, young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, and ethnically diverse communities. To date, Love Rowing has delivered over 80 projects, benefiting more than 12,000 individuals. With significant new funding from the Westminster Foundation for the “Rowing to Success” initiative in Chester, Love Rowing is entering an exciting growth phase and seeks a dynamic Foundation Director to lead this journey.

The role involves driving fundraising, building high-trust relationships with donors and partners, and securing multi-year funding for transformative projects. You will lead governance, project delivery, and impact measurement while inspiring a small team and collaborating with an experienced, hands-on Board of Trustees. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, adaptable leader with proven success in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and social impact delivery. Knowledge of rowing is not required—just a passion for inclusion and the transformative power of sport.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a charity that punches above its weight and makes a tangible difference to thousands of lives. If you’re motivated by impact and innovation, and ready to apply your skills to scale our mission, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply: CV and statement no later than 12noon on Tuesday 25th November to info@loverowing.org
